Our Process

The first step in enjoying a new backyard structure is to design your building. Our team will work with you to plan the style, dimensions, and options for your new structure. After that, we will send you a detailed quote for your project – including any additional costs for site prep or finishing the interior. If you decide to move forward with your project, you will need to sign the sales order/contract and make a down payment.

Depending on your structure and local building codes, you might need to obtain a building permit for the project. If this is the case, our team will draft detailed engineering drawings for use in the permit application process. This stage can usually add 1-2 months to a project.

While your structure is being built by our Amish craftsmen, we need to start preparing your backyard for installation. This includes creating a suitable foundation of crushed stone or concrete for the structure.

Since our backyard structures are prefabricated in a factory setting, installing the structure on your property is as simple as assembling the structural components. At the end of this step, the exterior and roof are finished, while the interior is rough framed.

Most sheds and backyard structures are assembled in a single day. Larger buildings or those that require inspections may take up to a week.

If you want your structure’s interior finished – including insulation, drywall, paint, and flooring – our team will need 2-3 additional days. Once complete, your structure is move-in ready, so you can start enjoying it!
